The football fan channel trend that started a few years ago has recently become an internet phenomenon. Football Fan TV is a new, innovative hub site that lists all football fan channels and their YouTube videos. The site serves as a platform for discovery and exploration of YouTube fan media. An innovative feature of the site is the organisation of videos into games. Fans can visit a specific game page and view videos from both home and away team channels.
We were tasked with creating a site that provides a consistent, highly-intuitive user experience across all devices. Discovery and exploration of content was a key focus of the project and significant effort was placed on the interface design to ensure requirements were fully realised.
The design of the interface is complimented by the creation of cutting-edge architecture that powers the site. Enterprise search and filtering technologies were utilised to facilitate content discovery, whilst ground-breaking code was developed to automate the categorisation, listing, maintenance and distribution of content.
